Dilithium Networks Introduces New 3G Mobile Test Tool

Dilithium Networks, a leading provider of wireless multimedia solutions, announced the introduction of DNA Mobile, a new member of Dilithium Networks Analyzer (DNA) family. The new DNA Mobile offers increased flexibility and mobility making it easier for network operators to gather key performance indicators of network statistics related to video telephony across the 3G networks.

NTT DoCoMo Launches Bytemobile Optimization Solution in its Core Network

Bytemobile, the company dedicated to delivering pure, optimizedaccess to network operators, service providers and enterprises, today announced that NTT DoCoMo has deployed Bytemobile’s optimization solution in its core network to enable faster end- user access and more cost efficient delivery of applications such as web browsing and email. “The sheer volume of their data subscribers underscores the fact that NTT DoCoMo leads the world market with data services that offer a great end-user experience,” said Steve Livingston, executive vice president for Bytemobile. “We’re pleased that our optimization solution was selected for their network.” Bytemobile’s optimization solutions have been broadly deployed at more than 30 operators around the globe; the DoCoMo installation represents the first large commercial deployment in Japan.

HP Signs Five-Year Managed Services Agreement with Nokia

HP today announced that it has signed a five-year agreement with Nokia to continue providing global information technology (IT) outsourcing services for the company’s 51,000 employees worldwide. The new agreement is valued at approximately $100 million per year and formalizes a memorandum of understanding announced in February. Extending the companies’ original collaboration that began in 2001, HP will continue to manage the IT infrastructure and operations for Nokia’s messaging, groupware and network.

Dilithium Networks Multimedia Gateway Supports SIP Protocol

By supporting SIP, DTG2000 enables conversational video services between SIP-enabled terminals on the packet network and 3G-324M terminals on 3G mobile networks.

Chunghwa Telecom Adopts Dilithium Networks' 3G Test Tool

Dilithium Networks, a leading provider of wireless multimedia solutions, today announced that Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) the largest telecommunications operator in Taiwan, has purchased the Dilithium Networks Analyzer (DNA) the industry-leading 3G protocol analysis and test tool. The DNA will be used for interoperability testing and standards compliance with equipment manufacturers.

Alcatel Close to China 3G Deal

French telecoms equipment maker Alcatel is nearing a deal with a Chinese peer on cooperating to build 3G mobile phone networks using the Chinese TD-SCDMA standard, a senior executive said. Alcatel’s position in China has also been bolstered by gains in market share, Christian Reinaudo, the company’s head of Asia Pacific operations, said on Monday. “We’re in very serious talks with local Chinese firms to do something together,” Reinaudo said at the Reuters Asia Technology Summit.
