Big Screen LED Talking NFC Posters

Here’s a quick treat = TGIF! See one of the latest ad campaigns in Tokyo using dedicated LED screens & mobile NFC http://bit.ly/gMKER0

While not new, as we posted here this time last year or indeed much like the UB Wall demo from the CEATEC trade-show back in 2006, this NFC-enabled ad campaign approach is becoming ever more noticeable in Tokyo these days.

Our quick cam-phone snaps below are from Shinjuku station this week showing the newly installed massive LED screens which are running call-to-action commercials with dedicated FeliCa terminals for folks on the fly to easily grab more info on the current 3D Viera offering from Panasonic.

A quick tap & go with your phone pops a link for their matching mobile website, with all the usual discount and lucky prize goodies. Expect to see this rolling in most major locations over short term.
