DeNA Takes Position in Between App Maker VCNC

DeNA Co., Ltd. today announced a strategic investment in VCNC Inc., the South Korea-based developer of Between.us, a globally popular social networking app for couples. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Between app provides a highly secure, private space for couples to send text messages and virtual stickers as well as share anniversaries, schedules and photos. As of December 2013, Between was downloaded more than five million times worldwide. The app is available for free download and it’s currently available in English, Korean, Chinese and Japanese on the App Store and Google Play.
