DoCoMo and Partners to License W-CDMA Patents
DoCoMo, announced today that it will begin licensing patents for its proprietary W-CDMA technology, on which , the world’s first 3G wireless service, is based.
As global telecommunications operators gear up for launch of 3G mobile communications services, DoCoMo is envisioning extensive use of its IMT-2000 compliant W-CDMA system.
