The DOCOMO booth at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2014 will offer experiential demonstrations and stage shows that explain how DOCOMO’s advanced services, such as cloud services optimized for LTE, multiple shopping platforms and unique M2M solutions, are helping people to live smarter and companies to enhance their businesses. Also featured will be exciting R&D initiatives involving technologies targeting beyond 2020, such as 5G mobile networks and intelligent wearable device application. During the Congress, DOCOMO President and CEO Kaoru Kato will deliver a keynote speech on the theme “The Connected Lifestyle: Transforming Industries.”
DOCOMO will present its concept of the next-generation mobile communications system (5G), which will succeed LTE-Advanced networks by 2020. Demonstrations will present the incredible data transmission speed (exceeding 10Gbps in downlink), high capacity and low latency of futuristic 5G networks.
