SoftBank Mobile and JR do WiFi

SOFTBANK MOBILE Corp., under the cooperation of SOFTBANK TELECOM Corp., all stations of East Yamanote Line, JR, and between the center line Ochanomizu Sendagaya ~ *1 station on the premises of every station on March 30, 2012 (Friday), Sapporo Municipal Subway *2 , Sendai City Subway *3 and Kobe Municipal Subway, *4 (Monday), and then begin offering “Softbank Wi-Fi spots” April 2, 2012 at part of the station. This high-speed communication, using Wi-Fi such as waiting at the station will be possible.
“Softbank Wi-Fi spot” is available in the whole country around the stations and airports, cafes, public wireless LAN service is provided by Softbank Mobile. The expansion of this service area, even in the subway stations of East and JR, iPad and iPhone, smartphones, mobile Wi-Fi compatible models will become available as more comfortable.
Softbank Mobile, in conjunction with the various railway companies in the future, we will continue to expand the area available “Softbank Wi-Fi spot.”
