  • Beware of perverts with mobile phone cameras: police

    Police are warning women against perverts using digital camera-enabled mobile phones to secretly film them in the streets. “Because women cannot easily detect men filming them, I’m afraid that the number of victims will skyrocket,” one detective said Saturday.

    According to Hyogo Prefectural Police, one typical method employed by men is to stand behind a woman on an escalator, pretend to look at the mobile phone’s display, and swiftly lower the device under the woman’s skirt while pushing the shutter. Continue
