Key Value Co., Ltd., is pleased to announce that it has developed “smart cushion” with iBeacon pressure-sensitive built-in module. The “smart cushion” sensor turns on the weight when a person sit on the tatami chairs and the radio signal of iBeacon will send to smartphone or tablet application. You can receive real-time information if “seat is occupied” with this product. The price is not yet determined, but I assume that will be 1,200 to 2,000 yen ($12 – $20) per one piece in mass production.
Leverage smart cushion in personal life by log of yourself to track in the seat how often. It can be recorded as of the time card, and then automatically aggregates the time I sat down to study or working time. Food shop or waiting room turnover and congestion; automatic recording the visitor status on each seat in the restaurant based on this data, plan seat availability with average time of customer and visitor frequency of each day of the week and time, analysis is possible.
