NTT DOCOMO, INC. announced today that it received the highest marks among Japan’s mobile phone operators in the 2011 Japan Mobile Phone Service StudySM, a customer-satisfaction study conducted by J.D. Power Asia Pacific.

This is the second consecutive year in which the company has received top marks in the customer-satisfaction study, another indication that DOCOMO continues to offer unrivaled mobile experiences in the Japanese market.

The study examined customer satisfaction with mobile phone operators based on six factors: handset, service offered, network quality/coverage area, cost, handset purchase experience and customer care. DOCOMO scored the highest in four factors: service offered, network quality/coverage area, handset purchase experience and customer care.

Previously, DOCOMO also received the highest marks among mobile operators in the J.D. Power Asia Pacific 2011 Japan Business Mobile Phone Service StudySM announced in September, the third consecutive year in which DOCOMO has placed highest in this separate study.
