A flood of press releases came out of Qualcomm in San Diego last week including the Adobe tie-up for Flash, a new widgets platform, we also found this Q&A with Paul Jacobs via Tech-on interesting. The company also announced the winners for their annual BREW developer awards and we’re somewhat shocked to see that not one company from Japan managed to bring home the hardware, as they have for the past four years running.
Qualcomm and Digital Hollywood K.K., announced that they will be hosting the BREW JAPAN Conference 2008 on June 23. Keynotes will be presented by Tsuyoshi Takenouchi, general manager of Content Service Planning Department, Content and Media Division, KDDI and Yasuhide Yamamoto, general manager of FMC Solution Engineering Division, FMC Solution Business Sector, Solution Business Sector, KDDI. The conference will include a technology/enabler and tool showcase featuring companies demonstrating a variety of BREW development tools to improve productivity of development.
If you’re in town we’ll be at the Tokyo Hilton..
