SiteCast Mobile Service Announced
Dai Nippon Printing has launched a new platform offering called SiteCast, an ASP service which has been developed for companies to easily create mobile formatted websites for campaigns in both print and broadcasting media. The system features a 2D barcode loaded with information including URLs of products which users can connect to campaigns from newspaper, magazine or catalogue advertisments via their mobile.
SiteCast includes easily customizable templates, and transmission functions for getting important information from users including survey and contact forms, and functionality for measuring advertising effectiveness for marketing purposes.
The price service is an initialization cost 100,000 yen, and monthly basic charge 50,000 yen. However, when the number of requests per month exceed 5000, an extra charge 5000 yen for 5000 is charged. An extra charge 10,000 yen for every 10,000 pages when the number of monthly requests exceeds 30,000 pages.
