  • DoCoMo to Offer AirTight SpectraGaurd

    AirTight Networks has announced that DoCoMo Engineering Shikoku has signed an agreement to resell SpectraGuard wireless intrusion prevention solutions (WIPS) in Japan. DoCoMo Engineering Shikoku is the first Japanese reseller signed by Active Inc. — AirTight Networks’ distributor for the Japanese market. “Japan is an important market for our company, and there is no better endorsement for AirTight Networks than to have DoCoMo Engineering Shikoku reselling our solutions,” said Dennis Tsu, vice president of marketing at AirTight Networks.

    Active Inc. (http://www.actech.co.jp) distributes and represents several companies with different components of WLAN solutions in the Japanese market. “Active is proud to have signed DoCoMo Engineering Shikoku as the first reseller in Japan for AirTight Networks,” said Mr. Yukihiro Tsutsumi, CEO of Active Inc. “Given the growth in WLANs in Japan and the importance of wireless security overall, this should be a large, rapidly growing market. Shortly, we will be announcing several more resellers for AirTight Networks.”

    DoCoMo Engineering Shikoku is part of the NTT DoCoMo Shikoku group of companies that is focused on providing customized technical solutions for wireless infrastructure to its customers.
