ACCESS, Accelerated Tech Collaborate on Mobile Client
ACCESS Co., Ltd., a global provider of mobile content delivery and Internet access technologies today announced that ACCESS have collaborated with Accelerated Technology, a Mentor Graphics Division to bring ACCESS’ NetFrontTM Mobile Client Suite solution to the Accelerated Technology Nucleus real-time operating system. The integration of NetFront Mobile Client Suite with the Nucleus RTOS provides mobile device manufacturers with access to an advanced and comprehensive software solution suite that supports a broad range of device types including multi-media capable 2.5G and 3G handsets.
ACCESS’ NetFront Mobile Client Suite is a tightly integrated, flexible, modular and extensible software solution that significantly reduces development time and costs, enabling manufacturers to rapidly introduce advanced new mobile devices. NetFront Mobile Client Suite features technologies proven in millions of mobile deployments throughout the world and includes a customizable UI, browser, MMS client, Java virtual machine and more. The Nucleus RTOS is recognized as one of the most popular real-time operating systems for mobile devices with hundreds of handset designs deployed to date. The joint solution is also expected to facilitate the porting and testing of the NetFront Mobile Client Suite on the wide range of mobile CPU environments that run the Nucleus RTOS.
