  • BREW Developers Japan Seminar

Qualcomm has announced that Digital Hollywood will host the upcoming BREW developers’ seminar event to be held in Tokyo on 26 April. KDDI is also on board as co-sponsor offering workshops at their Harajuku Designing Studio for two days in June. Full details [in Jpn.] from their Press Release; access BrewJapan.com site, which has a limited English section available.

For publishers and developers looking for additional revenue opportunities outside of their local regions, QUALCOMM offers the BREW Global Publisher program.

It helps facilitate the import and export of BREW-based applications across regions and around the world. This ready-to-go model helps foreign publishers and developers access local operators without the numerous legal, financial and operational issues that often arise. As a result, they can generate revenue quicker with little or no up-front costs. In Japan, four BGPs have been established.
