Vodafone K.K. announced today that from July 15 it will offer the V401SA by Sanyo [.jpg image] which features a built-in FM radio tuner. The V401SA’s main feature is an FM radio tuner that lets customers enjoy FM broadcasts in stereo sound. Customers can also take photos and enjoy the Vodafone live! mobile internet service while listening to FM radio broadcasts simultaneously. In addition, the V401SA supports the “Now on Air” function so customers can retrieve song titles and artists names in real time while they listen to the radio. The new model features advanced slide-type design, 1.3 megapixel camera and lots of storage to saving photos for easy printing.

The V401SA features a built-in FM radio tuner for the enjoyment of FM radio broadcasts in stereo sound. By using the stereo earphones with FM antenna, customers can enjoy listening to the FM radio broadcasts in consideration of those around them. The tuner can also receive the audio of TV channels 1-3 in addition to FM radio. Bundled stereo earphones with FM antenna required to listen to FM radio. Interference may be encountered according to usage environment.

While listening to the FM radio broadcasts, customers can also take photos*1 and enjoy the Vodafone live! mobile internet service. – High capacity for saving photos, easy printing;
The V401SA comes with a high-capacity 12MB data folder so many photos can be saved to memory. In addition, the V401SA supports PictBridge so one can easily make photo prints by directly connecting a USB cable from the handset to a printer and bypassing a PC.

The V401SA has a slim body that is 20mm thick and features a slide open design.
