    A man abruptly stabbed a female worker at her construction office here after asking to borrow the telephone, leaving her in serious condition, police said.

    Investigators said the 30-year-old worker was on the third floor of her prefabricated office in Kotohira at about 1:25 p.m. on Sunday when a man appeared at the entrance and said, “I want to borrow the phone.” CONTINUE
